OUR CONGRESS MEMBER GOT UKRAINE FOUR TIMES AS MUCH MONEY AS HE GOT OUR DISTRICT!!!
CONGRESSMAN MONDAIRE JONES
PROUDLY REPRESENTING NEW YORK'S 17TH DISTRICT
Last month, I proudly voted to pass the Fiscal Year 2022 (FY22) omnibus appropriations bill, which includes $8.2 million in federal funding for nine vital projects across New York's 17th Congressional District.
From improving public housing units to building much needed infrastructure to creating health centers throughout our district, these projects are critical to improving the everyday lives of the people of Rockland and Westchester Counties.
These funding requests were submitted as part of the new Community Project Funding program, which allows members of Congress to request federal funds for certain qualifying projects in their districts. The funding will be distributed to various local governments and community organizations throughout Rockland and Westchester Counties and will be used for designated community projects.
Also included in this bill is $13.6 BILLION in much-needed emergency aid for Ukraine, which has been under fire from Russia for over a month.
(There are 435 Congressional Districts in the US. The $13.6 Billion he got Ukraine/435 districts = $31,264,367.82 per district.)
